By downloading or using the OnlineCTR launcher, mod or game servers, you agree to these terms.

What OnlineCTR is

OnlineCTR is a free, community-made modification that adds online play to Crash Team Racing. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Activision, Naughty Dog, Sony or any other rights holder of the original game. All trademarks belong to their owners.

You need your own copy of the game

OnlineCTR does not include or distribute Crash Team Racing. To play, you must supply a disc image of the NTSC-U release made from a game you own. You are responsible for making sure that your copy and your use of it are lawful where you live. We do not provide disc images and will not help anyone obtain them.

The software

The launcher and mod are free software released under the GNU General Public License, version 3. Their source code is available at the link in the launcher. The DuckStation emulator that the launcher downloads is separate software with its own licence and is not made by us.

Playing online

Our servers are run by volunteers for the community. To keep them enjoyable for everyone, you agree not to:

- Cheat, exploit bugs to gain an advantage, or use modified game files or tools that alter online play;

- Harass, threaten or abuse other players;

- Choose a username that is offensive, impersonates someone else, or is otherwise inappropriate;

- Attack, overload or interfere with the servers or other players' connections.

We may remove players from a server or ban them from the service, temporarily or permanently, at our discretion and without notice.

Availability

The service is provided when we are able to run it. Servers may be changed, taken down or shut down at any time without notice, and there is no guarantee of uptime, matchmaking or continued development.

Donations

Donations through Buy Me a Coffee are voluntary gifts to support the project. They are not payments for goods or services, give no rights or benefits in the game, and are not generally refundable. Buy Me a Coffee's own terms apply to the transaction.

No warranty and limitation of liability

OnlineCTR is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the software or servers, including damage to your computer, save data or game files.

Age

OnlineCTR is suitable for all ages. However, you may need a parent or guardian's permission to play.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at this address, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of your country or state.
